附教案一份 教案: Step 1: Warm-up: Watch a video about the robots used in winter olympic games. What do other real robots do in our daily life? For example, what can a robot waitress do? S: A robot waitress can serve people. A robot worker can carry things. A robot cleaner can clean the floor. A robot guide can guide visitors. A robot pet can play with children. A robot player can play football. Step 2 Presentation 1. Part A. T: What can robots do for humans? Let’s read and match each phrase with the correct picture. T: How do we understand the phrase explore outer space? T: Read the sentence and guess the meaning of the new words. 2. comic strip Free talk. T: What is Hobo? S: It is an e-dog. T: Yes. We can also call it a robot dog. What can it do for its master Eddie? (Show pictures.) S: Hobo can read books/watch TV/plant trees. T: Look at this picture. What can it do for Eddie? S: It can post a letter for Eddie. Watch and answer. T: Now let’s enjoy a video and answer the following questions. (1) What is Eddie doing now? Why? (2) Will Hobo post the letter for Eddie? The robot Wall-E works on the earth for nearly ten years. Let’s enjoy a video. T: What do you think of the robot? T: I think he is clever and it seems that he can think. I don’t doubt that he has a brain like us, so they can do whatever they are asked to. So, here brain means 大脑 in Chinese. T: Have you ever seen the film I, robot? T: The story tells us that in 2035, humans live with robots happily. Robots can do whatever they are asked to for humans. But one day, something happens … T: What about this film? Yes, “机械战警” in Chinese. Have you ever heard of it? T: The story tells us that in 2028, a policeman came back to life as a robot. He plays an important role in protecting people’s safety. According to the above two films, robots will have their own thoughts in the future. They may not help people any more. Do you agree? Why or why not? Step 4 Practice T: If you had a robot, what would you like it to do for you? Why? T: What are Daniel’s and Amy’s ideas about robots? Let’s listen to a dialogue between them and answer questions. 了解机器人的用途是本节课的重点。考虑到学生对机器人比较陌生,所以利用冬奥会中关于智能机器人的广泛应用这一素材作为课堂导入,激发学生的兴趣,也为后面的学习做了铺垫。 学生根据图片提示,回答问题,了解机器人在日常生活中的作用。同时,对于初三学生,适当地根据词根、词缀拓展词汇学习对于培养他们良好的词汇积累习惯很有必要。 推荐三部学生熟悉的机器人电影,比较三部电影中机器人对人类的所做所为,让学生讨论、思考,机器人给人类带来的影响是好还是坏。培养学生的辩证思维能力。 本节课从学生的认知基础出发,选取与时俱进的教学素材,为学生扫清学习障碍,激发学生学习兴趣,通过听、说、读、写、思等多种方式来培养学生的语用能力、自主学习能力和思辨能力。
